Ibrahim* (Abraham) and Ismail* (Ishmael)

As the eldest son in the family, as much as I enjoy Eid-ul-Adha and the fiesta of red meat it accompanies, I can't help but wonder: What if Ibrahim* had actually (gulp) sacrificed Ismail*? Suddenly all that meat doesn't sit too well...
